Description
Halfway Schoolhouse. It is located on the SW shoulder of US 231 at the junction of Route 1332 in Halfway, KY (Allen Springs Quad). This structure was built around 1910 by the county as a one-room schoolhouse. The second floor, however, was paid for by Masons to use for meetings. It survived into the 1940s.
