Abstract
Collections & Connections is a semiannual newsletter of Western Kentucky University Libraries featuring its major events. This Fall '99 issue highlights the Melton Collection, the launch of TOPCAT 2000, Librarians Honored, the new CD-ROMs collection, Louis Shores Award received by Brian Coutts, Book Festival 2000, the addition of a new parking lot at the Kentucky Building, the Winchel Endowment that supports the ERC, the Reference Unit's reorganization, the inclusion of Kentucky Museum exhibits in the Smithsonian Virtual Exhibits, the arrival of a new Artist-in-Residence, and a schedule of the BellSouth Community Internet Workshops.
