Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 1146. Student paper titled “Drag Racing Lore” in which Paul Ledden interviews his close friend Larry Lock, a drag racing enthusiast from the Chicago area. In his interview, Lock details the different types of racing tracks, car building and safety concerns, notable races, and superstitions related to the drag racing circuit.
