Abstract
Finding aid and full-text scan of paper (Click on “Additional Files” below) for Folklife Archives Project 130. "The People of the Capitol", an oral history project describing the history of Frankfort, Kentucky, and the citizens of the state capitol. This paper includes information about the Frankfort Penitentiary (1800-1937), the role of the state government in the lives of the people, and the various ethnic groups who settled there.
