Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 2576. Civil War correspondence between Dr. John Bates, Confederate Army doctor, and his wife, Lizzie Dominique Bates. The letters chiefly include news from home, stories from the regiment, and the behavior of their children.
