Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 596. Ciphering book, 1799, made by Alexander Smith, who was a school master in Prince George County, Virginia. Henry Oiler? states that it is his ciphering book, so perhaps he was a student of
Smith’s. A few business accounts of Oiler’s are recorded.
