Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 1181. Letter written by Union soldier Charles Caley, stationed in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to his wife in Mentor, Lake County, Ohio. He discusses his illness and also that he came, with six hundred troops, to Bowling Green from Louisville. The troops are staying in an old sawmill. Also envelope.
