Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 2808. Letters of Dorinda R. Evans, Glasgow, Kentucky, to her son John Evans, daughter-in-law Cornelia, and granddaughter Annie in Colorado. She relates news of her other sons and their families and her travel to Louisville, mourns the death of her sister, comments on John’s business-related absences from his family, and welcomes his second daughter Gracie. She also expresses her religious faith and mentions one son’s apparent break with his church.
