Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 2906. Chiefly letters writtenby Locke family of Indiana to Sally Barnett of Ohio County, Kentucky. Although they address her as "sister" and "aunt," no relation is apparent. They discuss religious (Methodist) and family matters. Also includes a letter from Sanuel Landstreet to H. Stevens and Charlotte Belt in which Landstreet expresses his feelilngs about emancipation. Finally, an appeasement agreement made between a prominent group of Baptist leaders in 1892, apparently in Louisville.
