Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 2961. “Barkley,” a narrative by Charles Sawyer describing his experiences as a delegate-at-large from Ohio to the 1952 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and particularly his efforts to promote the nomination for President of then-Vice President Alben W. Barkley. He includes an anecdote about attending the 1956 convention as an observer.
