Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 3007. Letter, 25 June 1942, of Florence Case, Spokane, Washington, to “Mrs. Hawes.” Writing from Versailles, Kentucky, where she is visiting her sister, she describes her trip, her activities, her impressions of Versailles, Lexington and surrounding area, and the possibility of meeting her serviceman son at his ship’s port of call. She also makes references to African Americans.
