Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 3128. Letter, 24 February 1918, of Frank T. Gerwig to Hal Kritschgau, Scottdale, Pennsylvania. While training at Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Gerwig writes on YMCA letterhead of military routines, a quarantine due to measles, meeting other soldiers from Pittsburgh, and his eagerness to serve overseas as an ambulance driver.
