Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 3735. Historical sketch by an unknown author of McLean College, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Chartered in 1849 as Belmont Institute for the higher education of women, the institution became coeducational when its name was changed to South Kentucky College, and subsequently to McLean College.
