Abstract

Finding aid for Manuscripts Small Collection 1853. Information gathered by an unnamed genealogist related to Elvis Brooks Parker's Civil War service. Parker, from Tennessee, was apparently court-martialed and shot for deserting the Confederate army and fighting for the Union army. His execution occurred after the Battle of Hartsville, Tennessee.
