Abstract

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 2015. Letter from Roland M. Carosella, a U.S. Army private stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky to his girlfriend, Marie Marzo, Buffalo, New York. He complains about a cancelled furlough and comments on mutual friends and Army life. Letter is on illustrated stationery that depicts scenes at Fort Knox. The envelope features an American flag with troops standing at attention.
