Description
The first part of the report examines the 1988-89 athletic and academic budgets. It discusses the athletic revenues and expenditures, as well as the academic budgets and expenditures. The second part looks at the trends in the athletic spending and revenues, spending by the colleges and libraries, trends in enrollments and staffing in comparison with the budgets for instructional spending. The third part examines the budgeting and expenditures for the administration of the colleges and the university over an approximately four year period. The last two sections summarize the analyses and present recommendations of the Fiscal Affairs Committee to improve the budgeting and reporting systems.
