Abstract

Finding aid and selected portions of letters (click on Additional Files below to see selected portions) of John "Wildcat" McKinney, Bourbon County, Kentucky, to John Brown and Joseph Brown in Bath County, Virginia. McKinney reports on various land dealings conducted by him on behalf of John Brown and others, asks of news regarding the Louisiana Purchase, and gives some information about his family.
