Typescript copy (2 pages) of selected abstracts from sundry documents found in the Edmonson County Clerk’s office which explains the establishment of county government including those proffering bonds for elected positions such as sheriff, justices of the peace, etc. (1825). Also includes information about early land transactions, building projects, licenses granted, and information about the emancipation of a slave. Collected by John B. Rodes.
