Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 2709. “Conscience Money,” by Sarah “Sadie” Price, a story about the recovery of money belonging to the narrator’s father, a Union sympathizer, and hidden while he was a refugee from Kentucky during the Civil War. Price adds a postscript to an editor, calling it an “o’er true tale” that may be more appropriate for a psychological journal. Copied from unpublished notes in Sadie F. Price’s scrapbook at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, St. Louis, Missouri.
