Notice, 4 March 1863, to Charles Wilson, Cuyahoga County, Ohio from Governor David Tod awarding him a certificate of service in the “Squirrel Hunters,” volunteers who responded to his call to defend Cincinnati and southern Ohio against threatened invasion by Confederate forces in September 1862. Includes an honorable discharge (mutilated) issued to Wilson.
