Letter, 2 October 1812, written by Isaac Shelby, Frankfort, Kentucky to Colonel George Thompson, Harrodsburg, Kentucky, in which he discusses the conditions of the U.S. Army and then remarks about the Kentucky Volunteers of which Thompson's son was a member.
