Hugh B. Wright, Las Vegas, New Mexico, who served in the 1st U.S. Volunteer Cavlary (Rough Riders) during the Spanish-American War. He is said to have been one of the three men who raised the flag on San Juan hill in July 1898. This photo was taken by Pierson Brothers in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
