Price Lambert Farmhouse. This house is located SE on Squire Lites Rd. 4/10 of a mile, then right 3/10 of a mile in the Scottsville Quad. It was built around 1865 by James Thompson. It originally functioned as a farmhouse, but it has also served as a dormitory house for high school students, a boarding house for oil men, an a meeting place for Eastern Star. It is a two-story "I house" that is significant to the Pope Community and the surrounding Trammel Creek area. It is a good example of a large, self-sufficient, and successful farm. MSS 203 B2 F3 #6
