Description
Margaret Munday was the first African-American woman to attend Western Kentucky University as an undergraduate in 1956. Munday would later graduate from WKU in 1960 with a B.A. in Music. In October of 2022, Munday Hall was dedicated to Margaret in honor of her achievements as a music major and as the first African-American to enroll as an undergraduate.
