Description
Serigraph, "Red Cubes". Cubes superimposed on one another in different shades of red. Issue #48 of the Print Club of Cleveland, Ohio. Note: The artist, a native of Zagreb, Croatia, "explored the relationship between form and color" in his work wherein "precisely defined areas of color, when placed against each other, compete for dominance." This serigraph was issued as part of his "Lumen" series, a portfolio of 20 serigraphs issued in a limited edition of 50 in 1970.
