Note: "This lighthouse towers above a pounding surf and is much like other picturesque lighthouses along the Maine coast. However, it is our favorite because it is near a tourist home we liked in Damariscotta, and even closer to a lobster pound where we could choose between freshly-caught lobsters, have our choice boiled immediately, add fresh claims if desired, and pay less than half the cost of a restaurant meal."
