The title is written in pencil along the bottom of the center of the image) Note: The artist wrote in "Landmarks: 40 Prints from 40 Years of Printmaking" that "Back country churches always interest me and when on a sketching trip I never pass them up. ... This print was made in Kansas City, far removed from my subject matter, and is the project of my imagination. ..."
