Description
May 7 - The Locating Commission appointed by Governor Beckham votes to give the normal school to Bowling Green. The campus is on College Street between 11th and 12th Streets. 162 acres on the Hill are purchased for later expansion.
June 2 - The WKU Board of Regents meets for the first time. Regents:
- James Fuqua (State Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- H.C. Miller
- E.H. Mark
- J.Whit Potter
- H.K. Cole
The Regents also met with Bowling Green City School Board to discuss the establishment of a Model Training School program.
