Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 1115. Student folk studies project titled: “Techniques and Tools in Making Fishnets with Emphasis on the Hoop Net,” which includes descriptions of the traditional process to make hoop fish nets in McLean County and Warren County, Kentucky. Sheets may include a brief description of a type of fishnet, traditional practice, tool, illustration, photo and informant’s name.
