Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archive Project 1330. Short narrative paper titled “An Allen County Tombstone Maker” written by Patricia Thomas for a folk studies class at Western Kentucky University. Includes biography of tombstone maker William Chase Bonner of Halfway, Kentucky. Also includes photographs of several tombstones crafted by Mr. Bonner for family members. Mr. Bonner was Thomas’ great-grandfather.
