Abstract

Finding aid and full-text scan of paper (Click on “Additional Files” below) for Folklife Archives Project 1365. Student folk studies project titled “Folklore on Pregnancy and Childbirth” which includes survey sheets with traditional practices and beliefs about pregnancy and childbirth in Henery County, Illinois and Jefferson County, Kentucky. Sheets may include a brief description of the traditional practice or belief, the informant’s name, location, birth month and year, text classification, and motif annotation.
