Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 133. 45 r.p.m. record, with sleeve, of “Paducah’s Layin’ Round the Bend” and “Ferd Harold Blues,” two traditional songs sung by roustabouts who worked on steamboats on the Ohio and Tennessee rivers. Issued by Century Records, the recording features Bertha W. Wenzel, vocalist, and Bill Small, accompanist.
