Paper by Sarah McCartt-Jackson titled “The Invasion of the Scarecrows and Community Aesthetic Perspective.” Describes an annual event called Invasion of the Scarecrows designed to promote downtown shopping in Scottsville, Kentucky. This project won the 2011Folklife Archives Award competition at Western Kentucky University.
