Abstract

Finding aid and scan (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 498. Claim, 1830, directed to the Register of the Land Office, Batesville, Arkansas Territory, for land evidently in the Roseville area of northwest Logan County. No name is on the claim. Because of construction of canals in Ohio, land was made available in Arkansas Territory to certain persons as directed by an Act of Congress, 14 May 1828.
