Abstract

Letter, 10 August 1835, written by Rebecca Washington, Logan County, Kentucky, to her daughter Jane Walker in Arkansas Territory. She vividly describes the cholera epidemic that has devastated the white and African American residents of Russellville and Logan County, and relates family news. Information about the letter is included.
