Abstract

Finding aid and scans (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 1719. Letter from David William Fairleigh, Jr., Louisville, Kentucky, 30 September 1949, to Harold H. Helm, New York, related to an enclosed 26 August 1819 letter from Ben Helm, Elizabethtown, Hardin County, Kentucky to Presley Edwards, [Russellville, Logan County, Kentucky]. Fairleigh explains the 1819 letter in the context of Kentucky's early banking history.
