Abstract

Finding aid and scans (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 1567. Two letters, 25 September and 27 October 1918, from Franklin, Kentucky native Drucilla Jane Short to her brother, George D. Harris, serving with the American Expeditionary Forces in France. Letters contain comments about family, business, the influenza epidemic, and the impending overseas deployment of their brother Downey. The letters were returned after George's death on 13 October 1918.
