Original and typescript of 18 December 1861 letter from “Foster,” Bowling Green, describing army conditions and reports of military actions; copy of original5 August 1863 letter from Martin N. Rogers, Camp Morton, Indianapolis, to his brother R.M. Rogers, Canton, Trigg County, relating conditions at the camp where he is a prisoner of war.
