Memoirs and sundry papers of Joseph Malchus Ray, a native of Warren County, Kentucky, who went on to teach at universities in Texas, Alabama and Maryland. He ended his career as president of the University of Texas at El Paso in 1968, but stayed on afterwards as the H. Y. Benedict Professor of Political Science at UTEP . The memoirs discuss in detail his professional and personal life and the values that shaped him and his education career. Collection also includes photographs of the Ray family.
