The Special Collections Library is home to many different types of broadsides and posters. This site has a sampling of the variety and diversity of the items that we hold. See more at http://kentcat.wku.edu/ Broadsides, fliers and poster have been used since the birth of printing to inform the public about current news and publicize official government proclamations. They also highlighted coming attractions and entertainment events. Many are works of art in themselves and have striking illustrations. Having these items in the collection offers insight into the daily life of our community.
