Description
Barton House. This house is located 1.1 miles NE of Route 1885 on Devasher Road in the Austin Quad. It is a house that was built finely, with unusual detail, bought by Michael Barton in the early 1900's for his family homestead. It is a 3 bay, 2-story frame double cell house with a central brick chimney. Records pertaining to the house were destroyed in the Courthouse fire of 1902.
