Abstract
Finding aid only for Manuscripts Small Collection 3106. Finding signed by 12 jurors adjudging James Purdy of Marion County, Kentucky to be a lunatic. The finding states that Purdy became of unsound mind two years earlier, “supposed to be from self abuse,” that his mother resides in the county, and that he is incapable of laboring for his support.
