Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project FA 1077. Paper titled “The Saga of the Navigable Green and Barren Rivers” by Joseph R. Hines in which he discusses the development of the rivers for slack water navigation and anecdotal information, collected from individuals familiar with the history, culture and lore of the two rivers.
