Mary Nixon was born in Lexington Kentucky and graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1977 with a degree in accounting. After graduating Nixon moved to Louisville Kentucky where she currently resides. Nixon has proven to be very dedicated to serving higher education and continues to do so. She has served on various committees dedicated to helping others. She currently serves on the University of Louisville Foundation Board of Directors.
