Description
Government Cheese formed in 1985, produced records and toured the south until disbanding in 1992. The group consisted of Tommy Womanck (guitars and vocals), Skot Willis (vocals and guitars), Billy Mack Hill (bass and vocals), Joe "Elvis" King (drums) and Viva Las Vegas (guitars). Co-founder Tommy Womack wrote the book on the Cheese in his 1995 Cheese Chronicles: The True Story of a Rock and Roll Band You've Never Heard Of.
