Abstract

One of the biggest challenges students face throughout their college career, especially during their early years, is knowing who and when to ask for help. This often causes students to slide into a state of feeling overwhelmed, unbalanced, and hopeless. All too often students feel as though they need to figure out everything on their own resulting in devastating effects on their physical, mental, and academic well-being. This video pamphlet aims to show the importance of building relationships with both peers and professionals on campus and surrounding oneself with those of whom they are not afraid to ask for help when needed. We want to show students that it is okay not to know everything and that we must make a conscious effort to seek out peers and professionals who can help guide students through the various challenges that they will face in their college career.
