Collections & Connections is WKU Libraries' newsletter periodically featuring major events of the Libraries and the Kentucky Museum and connecting them with their users and potential donors. This Fall '98 issue highlighted the first Southern Kentucky Festival of Books (now Southern Kentucky Book Fest); exhibitions of Lincoln, British and American childhood, and The Kentucky Orphan Brigade; the National Library Week celebration; the inauguration exhibit in honor of WKU President Gary Ransdell; and changes in Libraries and Kentucky Museum Advisory Councils. This issue also reported the reception of donations and the purchase of an art collection by the Main Library.
