Abstract
This is a biannual newsletter of the WKU Libraries featuring its events and people with the purpose of informing and connecting with its patrons and potential donors. In this Spring/Summer 2009 issue, the newsletter highlights the upcoming SOKY Book Fest and Kentucky Writers Conference, the US Bank "Celebration of Art" event, the Big Read that brought in actress Mary Badham to talk about To Kill a Mockingbird, the WKU Federal Depository celebration blessed with a speech by Congressman Brett Guthrie, the introduction of new Director of Development Josh Hawkins, and two faculty members that receive respectively the Kentucky History Award and the New Faculty Award. The publication is concluded with an information on Friends of WKU Libraries & Museum.
