Abstract
Collections & Connections is a newsletter of Western Kentucky University Libraries featuring major events of the Libraries periodically. In this Summer 2005 issue, the events highlighted include Appraisal Day the presented Ken Farmer, the successful launch of another Book Fest and Kentucky Writers Conference, the enhancement of Opac system, the collection of Robert Penn Warren stamp, the reception of awards by the Book Fest and Libraries faculty and staff, the story of Debby LaMastus, the announcement of Personnel changes, and a eulogy of the beloved Evelyn Thurman.
