Abstract

Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 889. Title: “Our Goodman.” Includes sheets with brief descriptions of each variation of the ballad “Our Goodman” and the constant trait of the ballad’s archetype in the lists of traits and variable forms used in Ohio County, Kentucky. Sheets include a text of the ballad variation and corresponding motif index number.
